Where are we based?

We are based on the Essex / Suffolk border, near the market towns of Halstead & Sudbury. Minty can travel up to 30 miles from home, however he can travel further for a small fee. Saffron Walden, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Braintree, Chelmsford, Colchester, Dunmow, Sudbury, Halstead.

About Minty

Our stunning Minty is a rare high-roof version of the Volkswagen camper. The iconic VW Splitscreen has been a symbol of freedom & adventure since the 1960s; a time when peace, love & freedom prevailed.

Minty rolled out the factory in 1964 destined for Switzerland, sadly we don't know much about his time after this. But when we discovered him in Bolivia it was clear his past life had taken its toll. We couldn’t stand by & let Minty rust away, he was just what we were looking for.

He embarked on a 6 month journey to the UK where his restoration began with some of the best Volkswagen specialists in the country. We will be forever grateful to everyone involved in Minty’s meticulous restoration & making him into the head turner he is today !

Marshfield Farm Ice Cream

Marshfield Farm are arguably one of the best ice cream producers in the country, renowned for making deliciously indulgent ice cream.

Every drop of fresh organic milk in the ice cream can be traced back to the farms eleven hundred acres of organically farmed land in the Cotswolds.

The entire range uses only natural quality ingredients, free from artificial colours & flavours.

Over the past 35 years Marshfield Farm have created a fantastic selection of over 30 award-winning flavours of hand scooped dairy ice cream, sorbets & plant based ice cream.

Antonelli Cones & Wafers

The Antonelli family have a well deserved reputation for creating “Cones for the Connoisseur”.

The family have been in the industry for over 100 years, with their roots in biscuit making, which is why their cones taste exceptional, even without ice cream.

Sustainability

We are proud to have centred our small business around sustainability every step of the way & it’s something we are truly passionate about.

Minty’s environmentally friendly freezers are charged prior to your event, using 100% renewable energy. This means we do not require any power at your venue & have no need for noisy polluting generators.

Our wooden ice cream spatulas, paper tubs & napkins are all sourced from FSC certified sustainable forests & are completely biodegradable. We personalise our tubs using natural eco rubber stamps, alongside “re-inkable” ink pads.

There's no green-washing here, even our hand soaps & cleaning products are by a B Corp certified cleaning company.

When choosing an ice cream producer there was a clear winner for flavour, quality, sustainability & animal welfare.
